      自1984年9月中国人民大学和复旦大学开始招收第一批新闻学博士研究生至今,我国新闻传播学博士生教育已经开展35年。由于新闻传播学属应用性较强的学科,新闻传播学博士生培养曾受到新闻业务不强的质疑。但我国的新闻传播学博士培养始终坚持学术导向,并且在部校共建、"新双轨制"、媒介实践需求等多元因素下,不断强化和坚持培养的学术性方向。时至今日,新闻传播学博士生教育已经成为中国新闻学学术发展主要推动力,不仅推动中国新闻理论研究和学科建构,同时也指导和引领中国的新闻实践。
英文摘要:
      The development of doctoral education in journalism and communication in China has been 35 years since September 1984 when Renmin University of China and Fudan University recruited the first batch of doctoral students in journalism. Because journalism and communication is a discipline featuring specific applicability, the education of doctoral students in this field was once questioned due to weak media business. In spite of this, doctoral education has always adhered to the academic orientation. Encouraged by the joint construction between the media ministry and the universities, the implementation of the new "double-track system", and the increase of the practical media needs, the education in journalism and communication further strengthens and persists in the academic orientation. Today, doctoral education in journalism and communication has become the main driving force for the academic development of journalism in China. It has played an important role in many aspects like journalism theory research, discipline construction, and guidance and leading role in the field of journalistic practice.
