| This paper answers the question of how to develop and cultivate Ed.D. students from the perspective of field theory. Firstly, it explains the field theory in relation to higher education; secondly, it explores the intrinsic logic of an Ed.D. program in light of its philosophy, power and actions; and last, it offers some ideas and suggestions for Ed.D. development and cultivation in China. |
