| Online Ed.D is a new kind of doctoral degree in which students attend classes through internet mainly. It arises because of diverse needs in education, experience on cultivating online master and attracting students through new programs. The online Ed.D program of Johns Hopkins University projects the characteristics in objectives,courses,mode and final dissertation defence. As a new mode of doctoral degree, online Ed.D has been facing with many challenges. Learning from the experience of the United States will be helpful for the reform and development of the education of doctoral degree in China. |
